Here you will learn how to adjust your tax settings

Step-by-step guide

  1. Login to your administration panel admin.yourwebsiteaddress.com

  2. Click on "Main Menu"

  3. Click on "Settings"

  4. Click on "Order Processing"

  5. Click on "Tax Related"

  6. Here you can adjust your tax settings

  • Apply Credit to Tax -  Determines if sales tax will be applied to an order that is being paid for with credit

  • Charge Sales Tax - Determines if Sales Tax should be charged. Sales tax is determined by the Ship From postal code located under the Shipping Settings Area category

  • Tax Shipping - Determines if tax is charted for the cost of shipping



Make sure you think carefully before disabling any of these settings. You still have obligations to the IRS after all.
