Payment Processing / Merchant Services

Here you will learn how to set up your payment processing and merchant services

There are 3 parts to the electronic payment ecosystem in AutoPrint:

  1. AutoPrint Software

  2. Gateway Processor (e.g. authorize.net, MerchantWare, Moneris, PayPal, Braintree, etc.) - Sits between AutoPrint software and the merchant bank. They communicate with the merchant bank and relay their response back to AutoPrint software.

  3. Merchant Bank - Interacts with the credit card exchange to see if customer's card has enough funds and then relay the info to the gateway processor.

Each of the supported gateways may integrate with a million different merchant banks... For this reason we typically say, "if you use <insert supported gateway> it will work".
