Production Settings
Here you can adjust various production related settings for your storefront.
Step-by-Step Guide
Login to your administration panel admin.yourwebsiteaddress.com
Click "Main Menu"
Click on "Settings"
Click on "Order Processing"
Click on "Production Related"
Here you can adjust settings related to production.
Additional Turnaround Time (hours) - Adds additional time in hours to a products turnaround. Example use case would be a customer submits a job, the job is outsourced to another vendor and an additional 24 hours of lead/turnaround time must be added since the job has to be transported from the vendor to your location. 0 is the default and when set to 0 no additional time is added. (Numerical value representing hours)
Display Est. Production Turnaround - This setting controls whether the Estimated Production Completion/Turnaround is displayed on the store. It may still display in some sections of the admin section but will not be contained in emails that are sent to customers. (YES | No)
Display In Production Details - Determines how much the customer can see of In Production status. If set to "Yes" they can see all production statuses. If "No" they will only see In Production (Yes | NO)
Display Missed Cutoff Time Message - This controls if the Missed Cutoff Time Message will display or not. (YES | No)
Enable Extended Cutoff Time - This controls if the Cutoff Time can be extended or not. (YES | No)
Enable Print Turnaround - Determines if a customer is able to change their print turnaround. (YES | No)
Est. Production Date/Time Format - This setting controls the format of the estimated production date/time. For available formatting options use this link http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php. Please note if you want to type out words you must add a backslash before each character. (Default: l M j Y \a\t g:i A)
Est. Production Verbiage - This setting controls the Estimated Production Completion verbiage. (Default: Estimated Production Completion:)
Production Days - Determines what days production occurs which influences the store's automated production time. This allows you to set both days for production and days for pickup. Note that Holidays must be set differently
Manage Store Holidays
Login to your administration panel admin.yourwebsiteaddress.com
Click "Main Menu"
Click on "Settings"
Select “Settings Categories”
Choose the "Holidays" tab (*If you don’t see the Holidays tab, your role may not be granted permisison. Check with an adminstrator, or check in the ROLES area of USER ROLES / ACL to ensure it’s enabled.)
When a date or dates is listed in this area, it will indicate that your store is closed on that day or series of days for production.
Insert Holiday to add a new holiday Name, Start Date, and End Date.
Edit on any line to edit the name, start, and end for that entry.
Delete on any line will remove that Holiday from your schedule.
Increment Holiday Year will advance the year on all holiday entries one year.
Decrement Holiday Year will set all the entries on the page to the year prior to the one currently listed.
Make sure to keep in mind any days off or holidays! Failing to keep this updated will lead to confused customers and missed printing dates.
TIP: Temporarily adjust your hours for holidays etc. by visiting /settings/workdays.html in your admin the week of the holiday, edit your Production and Pick-up days values then save. Remember to come back and re-edit them back to normal hours after the holiday week.
