Step-by-Step Guide
Login to your administration panel admin.yourwebsiteaddress.com
Go to a Contact's page.
Click on the icon that looks like a gear next to the Contact's name at the top fo the page
This will take you to a list of options that can be edited
Billing First Name and Billing Last Name are the first and last name of the Billing name of the account. This is the name that will be found when searching for the account.
Billing Company, Address, City, State Country, Phone, Alt Phone, and Fax are all for the Billing company.Â
AIM is short for America Online Instant Messanger if a client uses that
SMS is for cell phone numbers and allows for text messaging order information if a customer requests it.
Shipping information is the default shipping option for the customer. This is the name that will appear on the shipping labels for the order.
Email is the email associated with the account. This will be what the customer uses to log into the website and where updates on the orders will be emailed.
Password is the customer's password used to log in to the account. Certain roles will not have the ability to see a customer's password and can only edit it.
Alt Email is a second email which will be CC'd on any messages sent to the primary email. This email can not be used to log into the account
Internal Notes/Log are private notes made about the customer.Â
Extras are special flags that can be associated with an account. Only certain Roles have permission to add these flags
High Priority customers are customers who are flagged for extra attention
Free Coating customers are customers who are flagged for free UV coating
Reseller customers are customers who are flagged as being resellers to other customers
Checking Reseller on a contact profile will hide the affiliate program for the contact, not allow the storefront to add the "tag" value for jobs, not show the storefronts information on box labels, etc.
e.g. Printers, print brokers, graphic designers or anyone else that needs white label print services.Tax Exempt customers are customers who have provided tax exemption paperwork and are excluded from paying sales tax.
e.g. A church or other non-profit organization who is exempt from sales tax.
No Tagging excludes a customer from choosing Tagging options on the website
Resend Account Info/Welcome Email resends the initial email sent to a customer who signs up for the website.
Free Shipping authorizes a customer to receive no-cost shipping.
Disable Promo Code prevents a customer from using promotional codes
Can Save Credit Cards allows a customer to save credit cards for future use.
Do Not Call warns a representative not to call this customer.
Newsletter Opt-Out/Email excludes a customer from newsletter or other promotions
Sample Pack Request shows if a customer requested a sample pack
Sample Pack Sent shows the day and time a sample pack was sent
Remember to SAVE after editing a customer's information. This can be done with either of the Save buttons at the bottom of the page.
