Complete the initial FedEx API setup here (This is necessary prior to starting this process.)
In order to print shipping labels, you will need to follow the instructions here to certify your API connect with FedEx. https://developer.fedex.com/api/en-us/certification.html (steps #1-2 of the FedEx certification process should already be completed.)
Download and complete the PDF Label Evaluation Cover Sheet here (step #3 of the certification process on the FedEx website.)
Email labels@fedex.com and request that they enable your keys for production temporarily and send them the cover sheet PDF filled out. Explain to FedEx that you cannot print a test label and you need your production keys enabled temporarily so that you can print a label to send.
(FedEx should enable your production keys for 1 week on a temporary basis so that you can provide a scanned shipping label.)Await FedEx to respond to your request to enable the keys temporarily for production and communicate with them on any necessary documentation that they request.
If you have not set your API Keys yet, go to your AutoPrint Website Admin Settings > Settings Categories > Shipping Settings > General Shipping and enter your FedEx Account Number, FedEx API Key and FedEx API Secret Key.
Important: If you are updating from legacy keys, this step will be temporary so backup your old keys in a safe place if you have them.Place a test order on your AutoPrint website and from the test order’s details in the admin create a test shipping label on your website to scan and send to FedEx.
Important: If you are updating from legacy keys set them back to the old keys that you saved so that your shipping label printing works while FedEx is certifying your label.Email labels@fedex.com the scanned test labels to FedEx for certification.
Once FedEx certifies the label go back your AutoPrint Website Admin Settings > Settings Categories > Shipping Settings > General Shipping and enter your FedEx Account Number, FedEx API Key and FedEx API Secret Key.
