It is possible to edit or add layouts, or templates for customers to select when using the Online Designer to create designs for their products online. The process is completed on the storefront and not through the admin. The instructions below will walk you through the process.
To manage layouts/templates CanvasBase must be set as your Online Designer tool.
Step-by-Step Guide
Log into your website admin
Visit Main Menu > Settings > Settings Categories > Store Setup > Enable Online Designer and ensure CanvasBase is selected as your store’s online designer.
Now, log into the storefront side of your website with your default admin account credentials. https://store.yourwebsiteurl.com
Visit your account dashboard from your My Profile or My Account area.
Select the Portals option.
Click the EDIT LAYOUTS link beside Use Default Website.
You are now in the are to create and manage layouts, or templates, available to customers using the online designer.
By default, the layouts edit capability is only available to the main admin on your storefront. If you wish to have other admin roles (like Designer or CSRs) have the ability to manage layouts, you’ll have to visit Main Menu > Settings > Manage Storefront Settings and click the CanvasBase Online Designer tab to indicate which additional roles have access.
