Here you will learn how to edit an existing order.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Login to your administration panel admin.yourwebsiteaddress.com
  2.  Go to the job you want to edit.
  3. In the upper right of the order there is a blue button that reads Edit Job. Click the "Edit Job" button
  4. This will take you to the Edit Job screen. Here you can adjust the order. There are two possible paths here.

Standard Order

  • Any orders made using the standard calculator on the website can be adjusted on the Edit Job screen. The drop down menus function exactly as they do on the regular website.  Pricing will instantly be adjusted.

Custom Order

  • Custom Orders must be manually edited. To do this go to the very top of the page. There you'll see three options: Home, Job Details and Edit Job Menu. Click on "Edit Job Menu" and then select "Edit This Custom Product."

Payment Options

The Edit Job screen also allows you to make manual adjustments to pricing.

  • Add Store Credit Directly To Job - This uses existing store credit to pay for additional amounts owed to a job. If no store credit exists it will instead reduced the order's cost as if store credit existed.
  • Reduce Job Total By - This reduces the cost of the job. It does not use store credit. Click the "adjust tax" button to adjust the tax to compensate for the new lower price if need be.\
  • Convenience Fee: Allows you to add amounts to an order.

Remember that adjusting a price doesn't move an order back into pending if the customer owes! If you don't want an order to proceed with money owed make sure to move it to On Hold or Pending until customer pays.
