Getting Started / What To Do First

This page will demonstrate what to do first and I few handy links.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Make your site live!

    1. Update your domain name servers.

    2. In order for your site to work properly you must use our name servers. This is done at your registrar (where you purchased your domain name) i.e. godaddy, 1and1, etc

  2. Gain access to the admin back end (this is where you manage everything related to your site)

    1. Login to your administration panel admin.yourwebsiteaddress.com

    2. The first thing you should see is the Usage Agreement. You must read over and accept the UA before the system will allow you to proceed.

  3. Get familiar with the help area!! (all import links are located here)

    1. The help area is located in the upper right hand corner of your admin section

    2. Brief breakdown of the help area

      1. Getting Started: Short tutorials that will walk you through the setup process like uploading your logo, setting your company variables, adding staff members and things of that nature.

      2. Training Videos: Training videos on how to do various things within the software.

      3. Turn Off Tooltips: Turns off the tool tips that are displayed throughout the software. Tool tips explain what various things are with short sentences.

      4. Usage Agreement: Shortcut to the usage agreement for quick reference.

      5. AutoPrint Software: Link to the knowledge base. The knowledge base is where you are right now!

      6. Support Response Time: Gives a breakdown and explanation of issue related severity levels to assist you with selecting the proper severity level when submitting a support ticket.

      7. Open Support Ticket: Link to the support ticket system.

      8. Setup Progress: Percentage/Progress of your setup. This does not have to be 100%!

  4. It Is Time To Get Started

    1. The first thing you want to do is go to the help area and click on Getting Started and complete all of the Step By Step Training Tutorials.
