The system is designed to automatically send out updates to end users when certain job/quote conditions are met. Below are the main emails/sms messages that are sent.
- Job is placed on hold - When a job is placed on hold the contact is notified via email and sms message instructing them to take necc action.
- Job is has completed the production cycle - When a job has completed the production cycle the contact is notified via email and sms message with tracking information (if applicable).
- Quote status is changed - When the status of a quote is changed the contact is notified via email and sms message. The system is more aggressive with the notifications for quotes since quotes are typically time sensitive and we want the contact to be aware every step of the way.
SMS messages are only sent if the contact has added their mobile number and has also given authorization within their notification settings.
