Step-by-step guide

  1. Login to your administration panel admin.yourwebsiteaddress.com

  2. Click Main Menu > Settings > Categories > Store Setup > Sign Up Settings

  3. Click the "reCaptcha Registration" hyperlink and then create a reCaptcha v2 or v3 key (NOTE: Do not click the GET STARTED WITH ENTERPRISE link, but select the v3 Admin Console option instead)

    1. For the Label you can use anything you want

    2. Under Domains enter the url of your website it will look something like: "mywebsite.com" or "store.mywebsite.com"

    3. Click the save button

  4. Once you click save your keys will be generated

    1. PLEASE IGNORE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLIENT SIDE AND SERVER SIDE INTEGRATION. YOU ONLY NEED TO COPY THE 2 KEYS LISTED IN THE NEXT STEP!

  5. Copy the newly created Site key (Public Key) & Secret key (Private key) then update your site admin settings

  6. Once everything is saved you can update the Captcha Type to reCaptcha_v2 or reCaptcha_v3

  7. Test reCaptcha v2 by making sure you see this image on your store account registration page (reCaptcha v3 will be invisible)

If your site still uses reCAPTCHA v1, please upgrade to reCAPTCHA v2 or v3 immediately. We no longer support reCAPTCHA v1. Any calls to the v1 API will not work after March 31, 2018. Please register a new key and upgrade.
