File Upload — Submitting Artwork

Overview

This article explains how customers upload print-ready artwork files when placing an order, including supported file types and what to expect during the upload process.

Uploading Artwork During Checkout

  1. On the product page, configure your product options using the calculator.

  2. In the artwork section, click Upload File or Choose File.

  3. Select your file from your computer and click Open.

  4. Wait for the upload to complete. A progress indicator will display while the file transfers.

  5. Once uploaded, the filename will appear confirming the file is attached.

  6. Click Add to Cart to proceed.

Supported File Types

The following file types are accepted for print artwork uploads:

  • PDF — preferred format for print-ready files

  • EPS — vector format

  • AI — Adobe Illustrator files

  • PSD — Adobe Photoshop files

  • TIFF / TIF — high-resolution raster images

  • JPG / JPEG — acceptable for photographic content at sufficient resolution

  • PNG — acceptable for designs with transparency

For best print results, submit files at a minimum of 300 DPI at the final print size. Include bleed where required by the product specifications.

Your store administrator may have customized the accepted file types. If a file type you need is not accepted, contact the store.

Using a Previously Saved File

If you have uploaded files in previous orders, you can reuse them:

  1. On the artwork upload section, look for a Select from Saved Files or My Files option.

  2. Browse your previously uploaded files and select the one you want to use.

  3. Click Use This File to attach it to the current order.

Notes / Tips

  • File size limits vary by store configuration. If your file exceeds the limit, try compressing it or contact the store for assistance.

  • Uploading artwork before adding to cart is recommended but not always required — some products allow artwork to be submitted after ordering. Check the product page for guidance.

  • If the store has the preflight tool enabled, your file may be checked for common issues (resolution, color mode, bleed) automatically after upload. See Preflight Tool for admin guidance.
